Big week. Had daughter’s assessment for her orthodontic work and need to go back in a couple of weeks to get xrays, moulds etc done. No idea what they are going to do with her at this stage. She has a shocking cross bite and there was talk of expanding her jaw. Usually this is done with a device fitted into the mouth. Unfortunately due to her age it might require surgically splitting the jaw. Prior to the age of 15-16 they can do it non surgically as the upper jaw is somewhat pliable as it hasn’t yet finished growing. Will have to wait and see what they say after they take a further look.
