I made my very first rubarb pie this evening. I’ve previously stewed rubarb, but never made pies.
Personally i think it came out a little tooo tart however I am sure hubby will enjoy it, he loves ANYTHING rubarb! :-))
Everyone all geared up for Thanksgiving on Thursday? Poor hubby got a rude shock this evening. He went to the local Waldbaums to get a loaf of bread and what should have been a simple exercise turned into a saga of epic proportions and bigger than Ben Hur. Supermarket has 4 self serve checkouts.. 3 weren’t working, and only another 3 registers were operating. This is 3 days before Thanksgiving, so i am sure you could also imagine what the lines were like!
Waldbaums is one place you wont find me buying turkey. Cant remember if it was last year or the year before however their freezer section was stuffed to overflowing and all the top level of turkeys were above the fill line and sitting there all partially defrosted..this was at least a week before turkey day. All I could see as I looked at them were the mental images of us all possibly being taken to hospital with food poisoning. Nothing like a bit of Salmonella on the side to go with your stuffed bird!

I would love to have these but the download time is more than 5 minutes. ALL the other download sites are faster than 4Shared.

I've had the account with 4shared for some time and when I initially opened it, most of the other download sites that were around at that stage weren't offering paid hosting which also left the file owner with no control over their files once they were uploaded to the hosting server.what other download sites do you suggest?CheersWhims
