I’m still meandering about the place. :-)
Real Life has been amazingly busy (my gosh I DO! have a life) and it’s also been pretty wonderful in more than a few ways.
Hubby and I started to get all the paperwork sorted out for my Adjustment of Status application. Once I have permanent residency I’ll have a work permit, the ability to get a driver’s licence and I’ll be able to travel outside of the US with permission to re-enter upon return. The only thing I am left to do atm is get some passport photos to go with the required paperwork. Had my medical the other day and apart from needing an MMR vaccination, which the Doc jabbed me with whilst I was there, everything else I passed with flying colors.
I got a lovely surprise via the Google Analytics Help Forum this month, by being recognised as TC “Star of the Month” for June. I had no inkling of this beforehand and it put a huge smile on my dial. (This is the 2nd time I’ve received a lovely acknowledgement such as this for the time I contribute to the Analytics Help Forum. The first time being in Oct last year.
The second HUGE surprise I received was an invitation to Google’s 2011 Global Top Contributors’ Summit. I’m off to California for 3 days in Sept to attend what should be an amazing event! I booked my plane flights today and I’m now going to be sitting here tapping my toes with excited impatience and anticipation between now and Sept 12!!
I’m sooo psyched! :-)))))))
