Hi Everyone :-)
Thought I would post something a little different for you today.
I created a new Christmas Quick Page and decided to do a very basic video tutorial to demonstrate how you can use them for saving your special photo memories in a creative way. Quick pages can be saved and shared online, sent to friends and family via email and even printed out as physical pages which can be put into digital scrap albums or individually framed. They make great personal gifts too!
The software I am using is GIMP, which is a free open-source image editing program that can be downloaded from Gimp.org. Please be aware, the software and the related help files are separate downloads and installations.
Quick page is 12″x12″@300dpi. Click the image for a look at the larger preview.
**NB Always work with copies of your digital photos. Do not work with the originals. That way you wont end up messing up your photos if it takes you a couple of goes to get results you are happy with.
If you need to scan your photos first to use them, be sure you scan them at minimum 200dpi/ppi to max 300dpi/ppi resolution if you plan to print your pages.

Enjoy and hope you find the tutorial useful.
If you like the vid and would like me to do more, leave a comment and let me know!
If you think it sucks.. then please tell me why (constructive criticism appreciated)!
Have a fun and creative day!
Whims :-)
