Its almost Christmas for us here in the US.
Its 3.15am and I’m mentally making notes of what to do differently for Christmas next year (as you do).
At this point in time I’ve done no Christmas shopping. I had the opportunity to go pick up some small gifts last week and at the last minute declined (against my better judgment). With Chris working from home and the Cherub not having attended school since June, as much as I adore my family, I’m at a stage of climbing walls from the constant ‘togetherness’. The thought of it brings to mind cloves, with their thick, rich, cloying scent that one could easily be smothered by. Don’t get me wrong, I love cloves … but there is such a thing as toooo much (and much as I love them, this too at times applies to family).
So, here I sit writing a blog post, planning Christmas future and reflecting on the year past, with nothing more than a hot cuppa to keep me company. The silence and peace are blissful!
The digital scrap freebie for today is a fantasy candy Christmas card. I really had fun creating this. It took me many tries and much trial and error and it still didn’t turn out quite how i envisioned it, but that’s ok, overall I am very happy with the final result.
Rendered at 300dpi, the card is approx 5-6″x4″ transparent png (background in preview is for display purposes only). PU Only
Enjoy
