Hubby and I got a good giggle yesterday at Verizon’s tech support staff. We’ve been having problems with our internet connection for months. The internet plan we are on is suppose to be 20Mbps/20Mbps and most days we are lucky if it limps along at 1Mbps max. Anyhow hubby phoned them yet again yesterday and the tech support guy is telling hubby (and I quote) “you have to use the regular internets not firefox”. WT???. We have a technician coming out to the house (again) today.
It is such a beautiful and gorgeous day outside today. I love spring, summer, the warm weather. I missed spring last year, as we didn’t arrive here from Australia until the end of June. This year it has been a delight to the senses, seeing all the beautiful tulips and other spring flowers everywhere, and the gorgeous trees as they burst into color with millions of little blossoms.
So, in celebration of the wonderful, warm, lazy, halycon days of summer to come, I’ve created a free Springtime Quickpage and a matching desktop wallpaper. Both items are for PU only, please read the TOU.txt included in the zip file(s).
Special thank you to Cindy Ritter who’s lovely Simply Wild Overlays were used to create part of the background.
Lovely bright pinks, mauves, yellows and peach tones, rich beautiful papers, highly detailed lace, and gorgeous butterflies. The full version is 3600px x 3600px @ 300dpi (it prints at 12″x12″ @300dpi), the desktop wallpaper is 1024×768. Both versions are in transparent png format.
You will need a file compression program to unzip the file(s), and an image editing program that recognizes png’s. Just slide your photos in under the image layer and resize/rotate them to fit the photo frames in the quickpage.
I’ve created the download as two seperate files one is the quickpage, the other is the wallpaper. Any problems with the download, please email me or leave a comment to let me know.
Enjoy and have a creative day!
Whims :-)
